Frequently Asked Questions
Can I tour Yick Wo?
No tours are scheduled at the moment. We’ll update this page and post any new dates on our social channels—follow us on Instagram or Facebook to stay in the loop. Visit the Tours page for more details.
Each tour lasts approximately one hour. We will meet on the steps at the main entrance at 2245 Jones. Please provide ample time to find parking since it can be challenging in this area.
What time can I drop off my child?
The Lombard Street gate opens at 9:20 and supervision on the yard begins at that time.
We encourage parents and guardians to stay on the yard with your child and join us for the morning circle.
9:27: Ready bell rings and students join their teachers and classes.
Morning circle begins at 9:28
Teachers bring students into the building after the morning circle, and parents exit the yard via the Lombard Street gate.
Please do NOT double park on Lombard. We have a crossing guard at the corner of Lombard and Jones Streets helping families cross safely. If you are driving, please park first and then walk your child to campus. Double parking impedes school buses and puts the entire school and neighborhood community at risk.
How does afternoon pickup work?
Pick up is on the upper yard. Please enter using the Lombard Street gate.
Reminder: Kinder pick up will always be 10 minutes earlier than grades 1-5.
If your child goes to TelHi or Salesians, they also go to the upper yard for pick up from a designated spot.
Again, please do not double park.
