Flexible Before- and After-School Programs to Support Our Yick Wo Families

Yick Wo understands the needs of working families. As a late-start school, we offer both early morning care and enriching after-school programs to support busy schedules and provide a seamless day for your child.

Our before- and after-school programs, including partnerships with YMCA and other local organizations, ensure that students have a safe, engaging environment from morning until evening. Explore our options below to find the best fit for your family’s needs.

Before School Program (On-Site)

Program: YMCA Chinatown Team

  • Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

  • Location: On-Campus.
    Access via the Jones Street entrance to the multipurpose room. Staff will greet and check in students.

  • Fee: $200

  • Activities: Morning care includes supervised play, activities to get kids energized, and a calm environment to ease into the school day.

After-School Programs

On-Site:

Program: Chinatown YMCA at Yick Wo

Hours: 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Location: On-Campus.
Access via the Jones Street entrance to the multipurpose room.

Fee: $350 non-refundable deposit + Member $110 - Non-Member $125 per month

Off-Site:

Program: Tel-Hi Neighborhood Center (After School Academy)

Hours: 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Cost: $400/month (financial aid available based on eligibility)

Location: 660 Lombard Street

Cost: $10/year

Teachers will release students to designated programs in the upper yard, where students walk together to their aftercare destinations.
